Yes! Mayni has taught people from ages 5 to 95. Reiki is a system that is transmitted through personal initiation, so <a href=\"http:\/\/shamay.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/reiki.bmp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"149\" height=\"194\" class=\"size-full wp-image-569 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/shamay.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/reiki.bmp\" alt=\"reiki\" \/><\/a>learning\u00a0is not a mental process. You get the energy in your hands and learn practical ways to use it.<\/p>\n<p>For First Degree, you don&#8217;t even need to know how to read and write &#8211; once initiated, Reiki will flow through your hands just the same.<\/p>\n<p>For Second Degree, you do need to know how to read and write, but more importantly need to have practiced First Degree for a minimum of 3 months.<\/p>\n<p>Mayni was fortunate to learn from Anugama, who had gone to repeat the Reiki courses with all living masters of Mrs. Takata (see &#8221;<a title=\"History\" href=\"http:\/\/shamay.eu\/reiki\/history\/\">History<\/a>&#8221;). Thus, Anugama had gathered a lot of information which most Reiki masters don&#8217;t have.
